The Media Jaarcongres is the place-to-be for prominent players in the Dutch media industry, with ‘A new world, a new perspective’ as the theme of their 10th edition, which will take place on Thursday 29 June in the Mediapark in Hilversum.
The Media Jaarcongres puts a focus on innovation and provides a speaking platform for prominent figures in the media landscape. It’s an initiative by Beeld en Geluid, The Netherlands’ media archive, and by iMMovator, a networking organisation that focuses on reinforcing the (cross) media sector, again with a focus on innovation. The media landscape has radically changed in the past 10 years, and the MJC tries to figure out what these changes mean for the future through stories, conversations and demos.
Aside from organizing events like the Media Jaarcongres, iMMovator also publishes research and creates projects. One of those projects is MediaMatters, an innovative accelerator for media companies and startups.
